is a large presence in the Point of Graves. The Patriarch is John Griffith, born circa 1702. John married Deborah Lang January 28, 1724 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Deborah was born 1707, the daughter of Nathaniel Lang (1676-1748) and Elizabeth Jeffry (__-1748).

John and Deborah had 11 known children.  Three of their children died in infancy.

Deborah Lang Griffith died March 20, 1771 at the age of 65. John Griffith died December 15, 1776 at the age of 74. It is unknown where John was laid to rest. There is no headstone or record to tell us.    John Griffith Will

Also, according to the Genealogical Record, there was an additional stone present for Nathaniel and Mary Griffith in the 1900’s survey.  There is a remnant of a broken stone is among all the other Griffith stones.  Might this be the remainder of that stone?
